how can we help?
-
Bladder leaks or incontinence can happen because due to stress and/or urgency. If you leak with a laugh, cough, or sneeze then you have stress incontinence. If you leak with an urge or on your way to the toilet then you have urgency incontinence.
Bladder leaks are common, but not normal! Pelvic floor therapy can help you control your bladder that way you can spend more time watching your kids play soccer instead of searching for the nearest bathroom.
-
Pain conditions can vary. To list a few:
pelvic pain
tailbone pain
back and hip pain
pain with intimacy (dyspareunia)
vulvodynia
endometriosis
interstitial cystitis
pain with tampon insertion
period pain
pain with using the toilet
I have some good news for you— you don’t have to live with pain!
Pain can happen after childbirth, cancer treatments, any history of trauma, or just because. Working with a pelvic floor therapist can give you peace of mind and a better quality of life by addressing your body as a whole.
-
If you are leaking stool, having pain with bowel movements, or even constipation, a pelvic floor therapist can help you identify the root cause and generate a treatment plan to improve your function and reduce your anxiety around using the bathroom.
-
Pregnancy can lend itself to any of the above listed diagnoses. Pelvic floor therapists are trained providers to safely address these issues.
Are you having a great pregnancy, but just want some help and guidance through your pregnancy? Pelvic floor therapists can also help provide exercise recommendations, birth prep, labor and delivery strategies, and postpartum recommendations to help you prepare!
-
Like pregnancy, postpartum you may begin to experience some of the above listed diagnoses or have lingering symptoms from your pregnancy. A pelvic floor therapist can help you return to your prior activity level and beyond that way you can safely run around with your littles without any of the leaks.

Diastasis recti abdominis (DRA) is a common diagnosis postpartum but can also happen from running, constipation, or lifting. It is a core dysfunction that can lend itself to incontinence, back pain, pelvic pain, or weakness overall.

We also provide services for the pregnant and postpartum population such as birth preparation, postpartum recovery, and diastasis recti evaluation and treatment.
